This apple juice, beries, chia seeds and water smoothie makes an ideal treat. Give yourself a boost in the morning or after workout.

Hi guys! 
Have you ever wondered what's the easiest way to give yourself more energy? One of the best tricks is to make an energy smoothie, full of vitamins and minerals that will raise your energy levels instantly. The best time to drink it, is in the morning, on an empty stomach, or after a workout (but make sure you haven't eaten anything for 3 to 4 hours, for a proper digestion).

Apples are high in fiber and vitamin C (low in calories), and they contain no fat or cholesterol. Consumption of foods rich in vitamin-C helps the body develop resistance against infectious agents and scavenge harmful, pro-inflammatory free radicals from the body. Some studies have linked the consumption of apples with a reduced risk of obesity, cardiovascular disease, asthma, Alzheimer’s disease, diabetes...

Berries are loaded with vitamins and minerals that impart a host of health advantages. The antioxidants in berries can help your body fight oxidative stress caused by free radicals that can lead to illness. Berries are also a great sources of fiber, a nutrient important for a healthy digestive system.

Chia seeds are rich in fibre – which helps with satiety, the feeling of fullness. They are relatively high in protein, with each 2-tablespoon serving providing 9.6 grams, or 38 percent of the daily value. Seeds are also rich in minerals such as calcium and magnesium and trace elements such as manganese, which helps make enzymes. Foods that contain omega-3 and omega-6 such as chia seeds are known to improve brain function because our brains are built from these fats. 


  • 150ml apple juice
  • a handful of berries
  • 1 tbsp of chia seeds
  • 120ml of water 


Blend everything until smooth.
Drink this smoothie in the morning or after workout.
